This post is about an observation or rather a speculation. I have observed that a lot of Scorpio moms have Leo children and Leo moms have Scorpio children. And their relationships is often quite strenuous. The child often sheds light on the shadows of the mom and the mom is obviously not happy about it. I have observed the intense struggle of this combo in romantic relationships as well.To the universe, this combo is representing the interplay between light and shadow, a beautiful phenomenon of the nature. It brings the depth to how we observe the world.

Scorpio is the master of the shadows and Sun is a luminary. When they come together, shadows are revealed into light. I can imagine how that can be unsettling to a secretive Scorpio. On the other hand, the Sun also casts shadow. Remember, the bigger the light, the bigger the shadow. However, Sun is rather known for its light and not the shadow. Not only people but the Leos themselves often forgets about their own dark sides. Scorpio sees that through and exposes it. And embracing shadows is not a comfortable thing for anyone.

What brings them together on a deeper level is their love for power. Leos want the power to rule the stage, and Scorpios love to be the ultimate controller behind the curtains. So a struggle of power is inevitable between these energies. The difference is that Leo wants to win this war and Scorpio eventually finds it to be not worth it. Therefore, Scorpio abandons the game. That hurts the Leo.
